GENERAL SPECIFICATIONS
The Series 8 Urban Receptacle offers choice of receptacle lids designed to meet your needs, and feature a galvanized inner liner. The receptacle is internally bolt-fastened to the ground.
Wood: lpe hardwood. Wood members 1-1/2″ x 2-1/2″ x 23″ (3.8cm x 6.3cm x 58.4cm) with 1/4″ (0.64cm) radius on edges and ends. lpe is smooth sanded and sealed.
Metal: Mild steel, wheel-abraded to bare metal, then precisely fabricated to final shape. The metal is powder coated with polyester, electrostatically applied, and baked at a high temperature to produce a mar-resistant finish.
Hardware: Wood slats secured from the inside with no visible hardware.
Options
Wood: Western red cedar, yellow cedar, Re-Plast, and Resysta may be substituted for ipe at additional cost.
Lids: Standard, removable mild steel or black plastic rain-proof lid are available. The lid is secured to the receptacle using plastic coated cable.
Metal Colours: Make your choice from 26 standard paint colours. Or, for an additional charge, choose from one of over 160 custom paint colours. Standard colour chips and custom colour charts are available upon request.
